We supply stud link anchor chain to Grade U2, Grade U3, R3, R3S, R4, and R4S in accordance with IACS requirements and classification society rules (DNV, LR, BV, ABS, etc.). We also supply studless chains for specific applications. Chains are supplied with material certificates and testing documentation.
We supply anchor chain from 16mm diameter (small vessels) up to 127mm (large tankers and bulkers). Standard delivery is in shots of 27.5 metres. We can supply individual shots or full cables to the required scope. Joining shackles, swivel pieces, end shackles, and kenter shackles are available in matching grades.
Yes. We supply AC-14 HHP anchors, stockless anchors, and Spek anchors in all weights. Anchor windlass equipment, mooring winch components, wildcats (gypsy wheels), brake linings, and windlass spares are also available. We can supply complete mooring and anchoring systems for newbuildings and replacements.
Yes. We can arrange proof load testing and break load testing of anchor chains at approved testing facilities, with certification issued by the testing authority and countersigned by a classification surveyor. We also supply chains with original mill test certificates and material traceability documents.
SOLAS and classification society rules require anchor chain inspection and measurement during special surveys (typically every 5 years). Chains should be ranged out, cleaned, and measured for wear. Links worn below the minimum diameter specified in class rules must be replaced. We advise on renewal requirements and can supply replacement lengths of compatible chain.
